The difference of mindsets

There is the one who knows the price of everything, but knows and admits the value of nothing. There is the one who might not know the prices, but recognises the value of everything. Society was built upon values of and by those who belonged to the second category. They recognised the value of the most simple things nature provided, and treated the simplest things with utmost respect, and considered them useful: the woods given by the forests, the clean water and tasty fish given by the rivers and lakes, the fresh fruit and vegetables given by the soil, the healthy skin and strong bones and bodies given by toiling the fields, the friendship and companionship provided by nature's animals.
The healthy frequencies generated by birds singing in the trees, the special white noise emanated from the wind's sound in the forest, the special frequencies hearable by sitting on the rivers's banks while fishing, the magnetism felt while hiking the mountains, the joy you feel when you sleep outdoors and the sun lingers on your face on sunrise, and the drop of moisture from the morning dew layed on the fields washes your face when you are just about to awake.
And that way of life, produced healthy children, and grew strong and healthy, and above all, CONTENT AND HAPPY adults, who were content with what they had and were content with themselves, above all.

They were content simply because they were alive, content to see the abundance nature has provided, content to be able to ride a horse and touch the deers in the forest, to shepherd the cows, mules, horses and sheep they grew, content to be able to fish on a calm lake or to ride a boat in a sunny day on a broiling river, because they were all, in communion with nature.

Then came those who wanted "more" and destroyed everything we had, because they turned more into less.

Men wanted easier jobs then tilling the ground, and women wanted easier jobs then being a woman and being the ones who grew families and kept them together for thousands of years. The forest became forgotten and got replaced by concrete blocks with no organic life, the soothing sounds of the wind in the forest became replaced with horning sounds of rivers of cars and vehicles on ever more filling roads and highways, the pleasure of fishing on a calm lake got replaced by fishing for the next big thing on the internet to make a fortune, or the next big customer on the agitated seas of commerce, in the world as a marketplace. The companionship and friendship of animals got replaced with lifeless and dead electronic gadgets, so that we can all fulfill our destiny working our asses off for the same uncontented bosses and superiors we all have come to become ourselves, and the lingering rays of the sunlight and the friendly dew of the morning, the life-giving moisture of the land got replaced with evermore smog, dim half-shadows, and evermore dust and rust.
THe beautiful skin and healthy bones and bodies have become dusty and rusty parts in evermore need of moisturizers, lotions, medication and crap, because the food that nature provided was replaced by money-producing crap (E102, E.... crap).

All that was beautiful and life-giving, was replaced by all that is useless for the happiness of man, and gives and has no life.
Still wonder why we, as humanity, have become such a mess ?

There's the ton of reasons, all based on man's departure from nature !

Want to improve this human nest, want to rebuild whatever's best in life ?
Well, get back to nature ! Learn again, to sleep on the ground, in the forest.Learn that animals are not your enemies, but your friends. Lear again, that there always was, and there always will be PLENTY of food in the forests, in the mountains, in the rivers, and there's no need to BUY what's best. What's best, always comes FREE.
Free, because nature provides it that way. Because nature WANTS it that way.

And that's the way to be and live what's best, in everything there is to be.
Learn again to ride a horse, learn to seek out the healers instead of going to the doctor, teach your kids to see far away instead of putting glasses on them from early ages, learn and teach them to be one with nature, before teaching them how to be an obedient citizen ! We were not intended to be that way ! Too much obedience brings about stupidity, ignorance, ignobility, and destroys the rest!
Too much obedience is for those who do not like responsibility !
I know, big businesses and big brothers, won't like the things that I just said.
But since their way led to no success for thousands of years, wouldn't it be correct to give again living in harmony with nature, at least a chance ?

The forests are still waiting. They have been there for thousand of years long before man has. The rivers and the fish have been and will be there, long after we will no longer be there. The mountains stand graciously still, and will for ever be standing there, the eagles still roam the sky and hunt for rabbits and small deer, and will for ever will be there. The question is, will we, humanity, as a whole, be sharing with them ? Will we, as races, still be hunting with them ? Will we still be sharing the planet with them ?
Do we still deserve to be here ? Will we earn that right again ?

Get back to nature. See if living in the forest for a week does not make you happier then all the gadgets in the world. See if your kids are not happier for seeing a deer or a fox or a rabbit, then by playing any counterstrike on any level. GET BACK TO NATURE. Until you can. Cause if we live life the way we did so far, there's soon going to be a clash. Nature will punish those who plunder it, and it's about time for that to happen.
Get back to mother nature, while you still can !

We could all stop destroying the world

We could all return to the basics: shelter, food, clothing, time to rest, time to be with your loved ones. We, humanity as a whole have forgotten to do that, and in the meantime, we almost completely destroyed our world. This planet, this 3rd rock from the sun, is a SENTIENT BEING. IT, or should I say, she, feels what we feel, hears what we hear, sees what we see. But not only what we perceive through our basic 5 senses, but all that we perceive with the eyes of our souls, with our hearts, with our thoughts... everything. We left our planet behind, and we tried to reach for too long, for things that didn't make us happy, we left the basic, totally sound way of thinking and living, for the hype way of life, and the planet, our mother, has felt it. It's now turning against us. And we all know, there's no rage greater then a raging female tiger, fighting to protect the rest of her cubs from those who were her own cubs, but turned against her and their brothers and sisters. This is what's happening in the world today.
Farmers' sons left the farms for a "better way of life", to attend universities, and high schools, which would provide them with the necessary education to live a better life, not like slaves of the ground, like their forefathers, but, like free, "civilised" men.
Then daughters left their mothers and the nurturing homes to get a better education, just like their brothers did, so that they can pursue a career instead of a "housewife" life. And so they did. Little did they know that both sons and daughters will become slaves of a much worse master then the farm's tilled ground or the mother's home was: "the system". Everybody talks about the system, we all refer to it as being something that we cannnot change, as being something that will always and for ever set people's faith in life, but we don't hear too many defining it. What is "the SYSTEM". What is this great power that wields its will above our lifes and we all (seemingly) must obey, it's set rules that noone defines and noone defies ?
I'll tell you what it is: greed, ignorance, ignobility, and lots of other negative words, but basically, in the last analysis, it only resorts to one word, really: GREED. What is greed and how does that destroy our planet ? Our life, our societies, be it US, Europe, Australia, or anywhere else in the world ? I'll sum it up: the unsubstantiated claim of a person or a group of persons that he or she is superior in any way or form to another person or group of persons, and all the acts deeds stemming from this belief, be it commited in group or in person, that result in the real or virtual degradation of another person or group. Read that again:
the unsubstantiated claim of a person or a group of persons that he or she is superior in any way or form to another person or group of persons, and all the acts deeds stemming from this belief, be it commited in group or in person, that result in the real or virtual degradation of another person or group
This is very important, because this is what it destroying the world today.
The rich, the richer, the poor, the poorer, they all do the same thing: they BELIEVE that in some form or other, because of some misterious and unexplicable way, THEY are BETTER then the ...OTHER ONES. It doesn't matter if we talk about material wealth or spiritual, psichic, or IQ, or phisical capabilities. It's the same.
The wealthy believe that they are superior to the poor, because they have luxury homes, cars, pools in front of the house, and bank accounts. The poor believe they are spiritually superior to the rich because "god" loves the humble (translation: meek, week) people and they have "better hearts" or they are "better at heart" then the rich folks. The athlete believes he/she is superior to the bunch of folks who cheer the winning or loss from the stadium, because, well, the crowd is not an athlete and they are not the ones participating in the run, right ? And the folks in the stadium believe they are superior to the athlete, because, you know, the athlete has to follow some rules, while they don't have to, and the athlete is bound, while they are free.
At least, that's what they BELIEVE. Believe=Be Lie We, or let's lie to ourselves, that even if it's not true, we shall treat it as reality. That's what believe is. Believing is seeing something that's not there visibly. And though belief can be used for positive purposes, such as positive thinking, nowadays, it's been transformed intro wishful thinking.
I'll illustrate some ways of thinking, all of which reflect this false superiority indoctrination, and all of which have contributed to the crisis of today, (and still contribute) from the global financial crisis, to the astounding family crisis prevalent in society today, by some lines that representatives or members of different social categories speak:

The rich kid:
- I don't care if it's that kid's father has bought the last one (toy, car, pc, whatever), I just want THAT ONE
or the rich man:
-I don't care for the wages of my employees, I want that house (yacht, car, whatever ) baught today !
(translated : take what belongs to others, and give it to me ! because I am superior to them, and I am entitled to receiving it)
The employee at the office:
-I don't care how much money the company spends on paper, I just want some of my stuff printed at the office, on the company's expense, well, the company surely can afford it, right ? [ while thinking: well the boss is rich enough, he makes enough money from our work, so why wouldn't he share ? huh? ]
or the employee at the pizzeria:
-What do you mean I can't eat a pizza for free here, I make the goddamn pizzas here !
(both translated: take something that belongs to someone else, and give it to me, because , by some unseen power that judges right now, I am superior and I am entitled to it...)
The burgler:
-Hey, you know, I don't steal from poor people, in the ghetto or in the poor neighborhood, I only steal from rich folks, right (translated: I am superior to the rich folks, because they are evil, otherwise they wouldn't be rich, right ?)
The police officer:(or any law enforcement officer, for that matter)
-I'm gonna bust this guy's ass, because he insulted the uniform by daring to ask me ... [insert civilian question here about constitutional rights when faced with law enforcement injustices ] these stupid questions !
(translated: I wear a uniform, so I'm superior= I am entitled to do what I want with this.... civilian)

So you see, employer and employee, burgler and police officer, bus driver and banker, we are all the same.
We all make the same mistake of believing ourselves to be superior to others, and acting in accordance with this totally false belief. You see, great artists don't denigrate each other's art, they simply try to create better and better art. Great musicians don't try to denigrate each-other's music, they simply try to create better music. And so it is with every flower in the field (you do still remember how it looks, in spring, to have flowers in the field, right ?), flowers don't denigrate each-other's beauty, they simply all do their best to be the most beautiful flower in the field.
And so, us, human beings, should follow their examples, and do our best, to be the best, in everything that we can be, and then, we would stop destroying the world one man at a time, and the world would be a better place to live in.
